A Doodler Since Day One.
Hi!My name is Helen and I am the doodler behind NuNu Illustrations! I am fortunate enough to have grown up on my families picturesque farm nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. From being a toddler to a teen and now a young adult I have ventured freely through fields, forests and streams, letting my imagination run as wild as my surroundings.
I have always admired and been in awe of the abundance of nature and wildlife that I am lucky enough to have on my doorstep, Many of my designs are inspired by day to day life on the farm, from Highland cows, pheasants, hares and woolly sheep to muddy wellies by the front door, hedge rows of wild flowers, rusty bikes in the woodshed and the abundance of insects and birdies that take refuge in the farm buildings.
MY LOCKDOWN JOURNEY...
Drawing has always been my upmost favourite hobby, when life gets noisy and hectic I have found it to be the one thing that helps me completely switch off. I have always dreamt of having my own business as an illustrator and eventually I am getting to make that dream come true, I spent the duration of lockdown drawing and selling my own greeting cards. It gave me the confidence boost that I needed and I proved to myself that I can do this and I am good enough!! I hope you get as much enjoyment from my designs as I get from creating them.
